the Case

The case is the box that most people think of when you say the word "computer". It might be a tower, a mini-tower, a desktop, etc. Externally, it has the rear input/output connectors, it provides access to optical drives (CD, CD-R, DVD, Zip, floppy etc.). The case will have an on/off power switch, reset button, monitoring lights, etc. |

Internally, the case holds the motherboard, the power supply, and the drive cages. |
