Project START conducts trainings throughout the year in regards to assistive technology. The staff conducts AT presentations to employees of the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services, nursing schools, secondary schools, community colleges, colleges and universities.
Project START also sponsors trainings conducted by vendors of assistive technology: DynavoxTM, IntelikeysTM, AbleNet, Prentke-Romich and ZoomTextTM, among others.
Primarily, Project START sponsors trainings (by means of sub-grants) given by various organizations throughout the state. Some of these entities include:
